The buttons may sit above the zipper, beside it, or serve as an additional closure flap. Designed to be worn open or closed for warmth and style. Like a quarter-zip, you pull it on over your head but a bit more rugged or traditional than a plain quarter-zip because the added buttons mimic henley or shawl-collar styling.
